Installation requires no modifications to the vehicle as this is a direct replacement part.

USB Relocation

The controller mount covers to entire opening to the cubby, restricting access to the USB/MDI port located inside. The OEM location of the USB port is not ideal, so within this upgrade we decided to relocate the port to a better location.

The custom USB port provided replaces the 12v cigarette lighter located near the cup holders on the centre console. It has an extension cable attached, which is fed under the centre console and plugged into your OEM USB port behind the cubby to retain stereo connectivity.
